You can bookmark a folder. This is effectively the same as a Quick Access folder. In addition you can structure the bookmarks in the hierarchy, for example a folde for books, software, etc.

Every folder has a green tick besides it. See attachment.
This is confusing as these folders have no associated application like Git or OneDrive.
What is the purpose of these green ticks?
Can they be switched off?
