Saving preferences to XML file...

Post by prr »

I just installed Explorer++ and I don't recall the last time I was more thrilled with software (then again, what I"m comparing it to was Vista's Explorer, nuff said). I do have one question. One of the options is for Explorer++ to save the preferences to an xml file. I would assume that this means that I could quickly export my Explorer++ tweaks/options to a new installation--correct? If so, how would this be done? I didn't see any option in the file menu to import settings. What would I do after d/l Explorer++ onto a new computer?

When you use Explorer++ on a different computer, just keep the original xml file in the same folder as the executable. Then, when you run the program, it will automatically load the settings from the config file.
