Is Windows indexing service required?

Post by DejaDingo »

Is the Windows indexing service required to use Explorer++? I have had to stop using Libraries and completely disable the indexing service in order to use composer to manage developing my several websites on this machine. I'm actually looking for a substitute for Libraries which does dot require indexing.

Thank you.

Hello,
No, the Windows indexing service is not required to use Explorer++. Explorer++ is a free and open-source file manager for Windows that provides an alternative to the default Windows Explorer geometry dash lite. Explorer++ relies on the capabilities and functionalities provided by the operating system, including basic file browsing, navigation, and management. It does not depend on or require the Windows indexing service.
