Arranging the area on the left of the window

Hi,
I am looking for an alternative to File Explorer in Windows 11, mainly as a result of the nag to back up folders to OneDrive that has started appearing. I do, however, value the way I can arrange folders on the left for quick access. The first thing is that I want the "Home" folder to appear at the top. This is shown in the first screenshot on the Explorer++ home page, but I cannot figure out how to do it. The second thing I want is to be able to put favourites in that "Home" section. Is that possible?

Finally, whenever I open the software, it defaults to drive E, which is my DVD drive. It then requires several clicks to close message windows asking me to put a disk in the drive before I can use it!
