How do I make my view be 'details' by default?

Tools/Options/Default settings/Default view - choose Details, then Apply

That setting has been removed from Explorer++ version 1.40 ... That setting is in Explorer++ version 1.35 ... why was it removed?

I tried using Explorer++ 1.35 but it does not have dark mode and that is a deal breaker. I don't want a bright white window blasting me in the face.

Very disappointed by all of this.
