I've been directed to this program to help resolve my problem but reading the manual I'm unsure if it will help. I'm using Win 10 Prof x64
I have a partition with lots of folders containing photos - some have sub-folders. 5 of these folders (from 100s) cannot be accessed. I can see that the owner is an account that existed previously under Win 7 (or maybe Win XP) (SID is long list of numerics). I tried via Properties to change ownership (tried a user a/c, SYSTEM and USERS) but I am always denied to propagate permissions to the image files within the folders.
Once I did managed to get into a folder and eventually changed the owner & permission on 1 file, but if I were to do this will hundreds of files(images) then it will take a very long time.
Can explorerplusplus help?

PS I have a partition backup and the BU software has an option to mount and see and copy all files as user SYSTEM). So the originals folders could be deleted but that will hit the same problem.
